From ballads to fun-loving, upbeat Soca tunes, Sunny Jim’s songs tell stories of life on a Caribbean island. His reputation as a storytelling songwriter grows with each new release. Since 1991, James has produced and recorded five CDs of mostly original music. Four were recorded in the Cayman Islands, and his latest was released in Florida. Sunny Jim’s original songs are among his most requested. In addition to his own music, James’ repertoire includes traditional Caribbean tunes, and you can hear the musical influence of such artists as Bob Marley, Jimmy Buffett, James Taylor, Paul Simon, Bonnie Raitt, and the Beatles.

Robert Greenidge is probably the most successful steel drum player in the world. Robert grew up in the heart of the Caribbean, on the island of Trinidad. He, along with Michael Utley, has been a long time veteran of Jimmy Buffett's Coral Reefer Band, giving Mr. Buffett the right amount of steel drum for his Caribbean - Rock mixture. Michael Utley grew up in Arkansas and was heavily influenced musically by the sounds of Memphis soul and New Orleans rhythm and blues. Mr Utley, along with Robert Greenidge, has been a longtime veteran of Jimmy Buffett's Coral Reefer Band. Even producing 8 successful albums for Mr. Buffett.

"Uncle" Jim Mayer
Jim Mayer, a.k.a. "Uncle Jim," has been immersed in music all his life. He lived the first part of his life in India, the son of Christian missionaries, where he was influenced by all kinds of music from regional Indian compositions to the Beatles.
Jim shines on both electric and upright acoustic bass, and has played with a diversity of performers from jazz legend Mose Allison to Ringo Starr. He has co-written songs with his brother Peter on several albums, as well as with Jimmy Buffett. He currently tours with Buffett performing live across the U.S.
